Design, production, analysis and characterization of organic compounds with high structural complexity, with the final aim of providing methodologies with low environmental impact and innovative functional materials. Originated from the "A. Mangini" department, the "organic chemistry" area carries out research on new methods of synthesis of molecules with biological activity, reaction mechanisms, bioorganic chemistry of anticancer drugs, activated reagents, low-impact chemistry environmental, innovative organic materials and history of chemistry.
