Reporting directly to the Director
The Department's Administrative and Management Manager (RAGD): Dr. Domenico Chirico
The Department's Administrative and Management Manager ensures the administrative and accounting management of the Department, supporting its governing bodies and the Director. He coordinates processes relating to the budget, purchasing, contracts, personnel, and research projects, handles administrative and accounting requirements, supervises the activities of administrative units, and ensures compliance with University laws and regulations.
Laboratory Management Coordinator: Mr. Luca Zuppiroli
The Laboratory Management Coordinator is responsible for the management and organization of the Department's laboratory units, ensuring technical support for research and teaching activities and the efficient management of scientific equipment. He ensures the necessary division of tasks to be performed by technicians to ensure the proper functioning of organizational processes. He directly manages the technical staff, with particular attention to the optimal use of personnel in relation to the services to be provided and operational workloads. Finally, he or she oversees and supports prevention and safety activities in the workplace, including the role of workplace safety manager.
Local Safety Officer (ALS): Mr. Vincenzo Agosta
The ALS supports the Department in implementing prevention and protection measures, collaborating in the safety management of laboratories, spaces, and activities. He or she reports risk situations, verifies the implementation of procedures, supports the management of emergencies and compliance, and promotes the dissemination of good safety practices among staff and users. The duties of the ALS are described and available for consultation in Article 8 of the University Safety Regulations.
