The synthesis of inorganic and organometallic compounds, molecular clusters, metal nanoparticles and nanostructured materials are carried out in this Laboratory.
CHIM_INORG designs new molecular compounds and nanomaterials and investigates their structural, spectroscopic, photochemical and catalytic properties. The fields of application include: the synthesis of bioactive molecules, photoactive luminescent compounds and chemical substances from renewable, homogeneous catalysis for the development of more sustainable and “green” processes.
