The laboratory management coordinator takes care of the management and organization of the laboratory units of the Department, guaranteeing technical support for the research and teaching activities carried out and the efficient management of scientific equipment; guarantees the necessary subdivision of tasks that must be performed by the technicians to ensure the correct functioning of the organizational processes; provides for the direct management of the technical staff with particular regard to the best use of people with respect to the services to be provided and the operational loads. Lastly, it ensures the control and support of prevention and safety activities in the workplace, also including the function of safety officer in the workplace.
